The brief for this project was to restore the early 1900s Victorian villa to its former grandeur. Previous alterations and infill of the front verandah had created a disharmony of scale and proportion to both the interior and exterior.

The alterations relocated the front door to lead directly from the entry porch into the entry foyer with restored Matai flooring. Elements of the reconfigured and generous stairway tie in with the original timber work and Victorian style.

The bedroom areas were reconfigured and decorated to create a calmer layout and atmosphere.
